About Jinhee Baik
I am working on observing, collecting, selecting, and making beautiful things in the world into a brand. I entered a fashion school because I liked clothes, and I worked as a fashion editor at a magazine. I built the brand's image as a visual director of a fashion brand. I was in charge of creating brand content. After that, I planned the product as the general manager of the beauty brand and produced the brand image. I am trying to do something productive and interesting that arouses curiosity.
Q - What's your morning routine?
L - Routine_ Music is my life.
I don't have a special routine because I don't usually plan closely. If you have a routine that repeats every day, you're listening to music. Music is with you at every moment of your daily life starting and finishing your day.
Q - What's your favorite book and why?
L - 1. 《Record of Yun Hyung-geun》
It is a book that contains the daily records of Yun Hyung-geun, who was called the artist of silence, his belief in art, and his podiums for work, along with the painting.
When I read this book, I can feel the strength of the bold painting style without hesitation. The life of the artist like his painting is so impressive that I often take it out and read it whenever I have time.
L - 2. 《Cosmos》
The story of the universe, guided by Carl Sagan, expands your imagination to infinity.
The most fascinating part of this book is the 'white blue dot'. Compared to the life of stars, the Earth we live on is only a small blue dot, and human life is just one day. Reading this book when stress is saturated makes you feel healed from the universe.
Q - What is your motto?
L - Just do it.
Try not to think too much before you start work. This is because you may miss the critical timing as you prepare for a long time with a lot of thought.
As you work, variables sometimes arise, and you sometimes learn new things you did not think of. So, when you are sure of what you are doing, you do not hesitate to implement it for now.
Q - What's your The Great Item?
L - The GREAT Suit
A suit with good material and great design is a perfect answer for a day when you're wondering what to wear.
Unlike other suits, The Great Edition Suit has a subtly standout charm. I think a stylish jacket and pants with a unique silhouette are great every time I wear them.

세상의 아름다운 것들을 관찰하고 모으고 골라서 브랜드로 만드는 일을 하고 있다. 옷이 좋아서 패션 학교에 입학했다, 잡지사 패션 에디터로 일했다. 패션 브랜드의 비주얼 디렉터로 브랜드의 이미지를 구축했다. 브랜드 컨텐츠 제작업무를 담당했다. 이후 뷰티 브랜드의 총괄로 제품을 기획하고 브랜드 이미지를 연출했다. 호기심을 자극하는 생산적이고 흥미로운 일에 도전하는 중이다.
Q - What's your morning routine?
L - 평소 촘촘하게 계획하는 스타일이 아니어서 특별한 나만의 루틴은 없다. 매일 반복하는 루틴이 있다면 음악을 듣는 것이다. 하루를 시작하고 마무리하는 일상의 모든 순간에 음악이 함께 한다.
Q - What's your favorite book and why?
L - 1. 《윤형근의 기록》
침묵의 화가라고 불렸던 윤형근 선생의 일상의 기록, 예술에 대한 신념, 작업에 대한 단상 등이 그림과 함께 담겨있는 책이다.
이 책을 읽다 보면 망설임 없이 과감한 화풍에서 느껴지는 강인함이 문체에서도 느껴진다. 자신의 그림 같은 작가의 인생이 인상 깊어서 틈날 때마다 종종 꺼내서 읽어 본다.
L - 2. 《코스모스》
칼 세이건이 안내하는 우주 이야기는 상상력을 무한대로 확장시켜준다.
이 책에서 가장 매력적인 부분은 ‘창백한 푸른 점’이다. 별들의 일생에 비한다면 우리가 사는 지구도 작은 푸른 점에 불과하고, 사람의 일생은 하루살이일 뿐이다. 스트레스가 포화상태일 때 이 책을 읽으면 우주로부터 치유받는 기분이 든다.
Q - What is your motto?
L - Just do it.
일을 시작하기 전에 너무 많은 생각을 하지 않으려고 노력한다. 많은 생각으로 준비가 길어져 결정적 타이밍을 놓칠 수도 있기 때문이다.
일을 진행하다 보면 변수가 생기기도 하고, 생각지 못한 부분을 새롭게 배워가는 경우도 있다. 그래서 하고자 하는 것에 대한 확신이 서면 주저하지 않고 일단 실행하려 한다.

좋은 소재와 훌륭한 디자인의 수트는 뭘 입을지 고민이 드는 날의 모범답안 같은 옷이다. 더 그레이트 에디션 수트는 다른 수트와 달리 은근하게 돋보이는 매력이 있다. 세련된 핏의 자켓과 독특한 실루엣의 팬츠는 입을 때마다 멋진 옷이라는 생각이 든다.
