About Lara
It started with the desire to make clothes that can be worn across generations and good things can be shared and worn together. I'll make clothes that can be worn anytime, anywhere without any prejudice about genre or time I will try to introduce a product that can increase the satisfaction as you wear it with the sensibility of Paris and London base.
Q - What's your morning routine?
L - As soon as I wake up, I start my day by reading the Bible for 30 minutes and organizing the day's schedule with a record.
The routine of starting the day by reading the Bible has become my training to look back on and fix bad habits every day. Also, if I record the daily schedule in detail by the hour, it will be easier to put it into practice, so I keep it as a routine.
Q - What's your favorite book and why?
L - 1. DONALD JUDD Spaces
I've always seen my work as a kind of another... I was doing something called sculpture I didn't think about it.
He is considered a minimalist artist, but he refused to call his work minimalist, saying it was just a "simplification of complex things."
I love minimalism, but I couldn't put it into practice, so I was inspired to organize my daily life as a buyer in a simple and concise way through the spaces that made Judd's art minimal.
L - 2. JURGEN TELLER
Jurgen Teller is my favorite photographer. His works, which contain humor through lively emotions and imperfect beauty, feel more fashionable. The value of Jurgen Teller's works, which harmonize commerciality and artistry with each other without boundaries, is the direction that the brand I direct, THE GREAT EDITION, wants to pursue.
Q - What is your motto?
L - No adventure, no progress.
I'm curious about the world, so I try hard to find out something. I like to make a routine to do something better through that process.
I believe that the learning that moves me forward is great no matter the result when I take on a bold challenge. Even if you fail, I always think that the experience gives you an opportunity to realize your shortcomings and overcome your limits.

세대를 초월해 입을 수 있고 좋은 것을 함께 나누고 입을 수 있는 옷을 만들고 싶다는 바람에서 시작되었습니다. 장르나 시간에 대한 편견 없이 언제 어디서나 입을 수 있는 옷을 만들겠습니다. 파리와 런던 베이스의 감성으로 입으니 만족도를 높일 수 있는 제품을 소개하도록 노력하겠습니다.
Q - What's your morning routine?
L - 일어나자마자 30분동안 성경책을 읽고 그날의 일정을 기록으로 정리하며 하루를 시작합니다.
성경을 읽으면서 하루를 시작하는 루틴은 매일매일 좋지 않은 습관을 돌이켜보고 고쳐가기 위한 저의 트레이닝이 되었습니다. 또한 하루의 일정을 시간 단위로 구체적으로 기록해두면 실천에 옮기는 데 더 쉬워져서 루틴으로 지키고 있어요.

나는 항상 내 작품을 일종의 또다른… 내가 조각이란 것을 하고 있었다 생각하진 않았다.
그는 미니멀리즘 아티스트라고 평가받지만, 정작 자신은 자신의 작품이 미니멀리즘이라 불리길 거부했고, 그저 '복잡한 것들의 단순화'일 뿐이라고 말하곤 했어요. 저는 미니멀리즘을 좋아하지만, 실천에 옮기지 못하고 있었는데, 바이어로써 맥시멀해질수 밖에 없었던 저의 일상을 저드의 예술을 미니멀화 한 공간들을 통해 단순하고 간결하게 정리하는 영감을 얻을 수 있었습니다.
L - 2. JURGEN TELLER
유르겐 텔러는 제가 제일 좋아하는 사진 작가입니다. 생동감 있는 감정과 불완전한 아름다움을 통해 유머를 담은 그의 작품들이 더 패셔너블하게 느껴집니다. 상업성과 예술성이 경계없이 절묘하게 조화를 이루는 유르겐 텔러의 작품들이 보여주는 가치는 제가 디렉팅하는 THE GREAT EDITION이라는 브랜드가 추구하고 싶은 방향성입니다.

L - 모험없이는 발전도 없다.
저는 세상에 대한 호기심이 많아 뭔가를 알아 내기 위한 노력을 많이 해요. 그런 과정을 통해 뭔가를 더 잘하기 위한 루틴을 만들어 가는 걸 좋아합니다.
과감한 도전을 했을 때, 결과가 어떻든 나를 앞으로 나아가게 하는 배움이 크다고 믿거든요. 실패를 하더라도 그 경험을 통해 부족한 점을 깨닫고 한계를 뛰어넘기 위한 계기가 되어 준다는 점을 항상 생각합니다.
